A frontier proposal with a validation plan, not an implemented detector.
Intended capability
Research whether the field could support this proposed outcome: A generalized 'teach it any slow material process' capability: fermentation vats, grain-moisture in storage, drying lumber/laundry rooms, epoxy cure, ice buildup on cold-room walls — the operator demonstrates the process once and the mesh gauges it forever after.
This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is research concept, evidence is class C, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

A related Frontier scene
This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.
01 The physics
Any process that moves water, ions, or conductive mass changes eps_r/sigma along fixed propagation paths, producing a reproducible trajectory in (delay, amplitude) space per CIR tap. Because node and scene geometry are static, the trajectory is a stable low-dimensional axis: fermentation changes ionic conductivity, drying lowers eps_r, ice (eps_r~3.2) replacing water (~80) is a huge dielectric swing.
02 Shared processing path
Stage 7 axis discovery: operator runs one supervised cycle of the process while the system observes -> Stage 1 CIR features + Stage 5 field parameters are projected onto the discovered axis -> Stage 3 adaptive PCA keeps the axis orthogonal to occupancy/furniture nuisance subspace -> Stage 6 Kalman+CUSUM turns axis position into a gauge with drift-out-of-corridor alarms.
This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.
03 Validation plan
Own-hardware, three demonstrator processes with cheap ground truth: bread-dough/beer fermentation (hydrometer), lumber drying (moisture meter), freezer-coil icing (caliper); success = monotone axis tracking r>0.8 on held-out cycles for at least 2 of 3.
04 Commercial hypothesis
'Show it once, sense it forever' — a self-calibrating process gauge for food/beverage producers, grain and lumber operators, and cold-chain facilities, sold as a platform capability rather than a point sensor.
