Mapped to a shared offline runtime family and usable with a recording or compatible ESP32 CSI stream.
Intended capability
Pilot this intended outcome through the shared Occupancy estimate family, then validate it against site-specific ground truth: Continuous RF headcount per room/aisle cross-checked against badge-in events; alarms when bodies > badges (tailgating/piggybacking) or when a body remains after all badges have exited.
This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is shared-family mapped, evidence is class A, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

This exact kit is one of 191 first-class designs. It includes geometry, objects, nodes, wording, scenarios, installation, limitations, and catalog-bound readiness.

A related Datacenter scene
This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.
01 The physics
Each additional human body adds distinct Doppler energy and independent breathing components (0.1-0.5Hz) to the CSI stream; occupancy count correlates with aggregate motion-band energy and the rank of the dynamic CSI subspace (already r=0.9).
02 Shared processing path
Doppler band energy + breathing-band component counting -> occupancy count regression -> doorway-aimed mmWave radar adds a ranged transit event per passage to harden the residual (the radar tracks one composite target: it timestamps passages, it cannot count simultaneous bodies — counting stays CSI) -> compartment Kalman per zone (people can't teleport between compartments) -> CUSUM on count-minus-badge residual triggers audit event.
This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.
03 Validation plan
WiMANS (multi-person activity/count labels) and OPERAnet for count regression; own-hardware: instrumented mantrap + server room with badge log ground truth over 2 weeks, measure tailgate detection precision/recall.
04 Commercial hypothesis
Automated anti-tailgating audit for SOC2/PCI datacenter compliance — 'every body in the room is reconciled to a badge, 24/7, no cameras' — sold to the compliance/physical-security officer. Plus tier: a doorway-aimed mmWave radar (a radio, not a camera) timestamps each passage; counting stays with the WiFi field, because the radar sees one target at a time.
