01 The physics
Presence and dwell come from motion Doppler and breathing-band CSI through the stall partition — 2.4/5 GHz passes thin partitions easily. The still cases ride a per-stall ceiling-aimed mmWave radar: 24 GHz does not cross partitions, so each cone reads only its own stall, holding static micro-motion energy on a still occupant. Trying on clothes produces a distinctive high-articulation limb micro-Doppler burst pattern distinct from standing/phone use; a collapse is the proven fall transient.
02 Shared processing path
CSI through-partition presence trigger per stall compartment -> per-stall ceiling radar holds the still-occupant and collapse cases via static micro-motion energy -> micro-Doppler activity classifier (trying-on vs idle) -> fall classifier -> compartment Kalman for stall queue state and average dwell KPIs.
