Mapped to a shared offline runtime family and usable with a recording or compatible ESP32 CSI stream.
Intended capability
Pilot this intended outcome through the shared Occupancy estimate family, then validate it against site-specific ground truth: Flags foil-lined booster bags and large concealed metal objects as a person walks through the store entrance RF field — the shoplifter countermeasure that defeats EAS gates becomes the detection signature itself.
This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is shared-family mapped, evidence is class C, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

A related Hospitality scene
This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.
01 The physics
A foil-lined bag is a walking Faraday scatterer: metal (sigma very high) produces anomalously strong specular reflection and shadowing utterly unlike a body of water-equivalent tissue. As it transits the portal, CIR taps show reflection amplitudes and polarization behavior inconsistent with any human-only baseline.
02 Shared processing path
Dense ESP32 pair array at entrance -> CIR sparse recovery of transit-time scattering profile -> RFF sigma-map anomaly (metal signature) -> adaptive PCA + MVE manifold trained on thousands of normal entries, alarming on metal-class deviation.
This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.
03 Validation plan
Own portal rig: subjects walking through with/without foil-lined bags, laptops, and metal stock; ROC vs bag size. WiMANS for normal-entry baseline diversity.
04 Commercial hypothesis
Loss-prevention pre-alert at the door — 'greeter, aisle 1' — for the retail LP director whose EAS gates are blind to exactly this attack.
