Frontier — the Field Lab Shared-family mapped

CureClock

Concrete Cure & Basement Water-Table Tracker

It watches concrete harden — and groundwater creep up a basement wall.

Readiness Shared-family mapped

Mapped to a shared offline runtime family and usable with a recording or compatible ESP32 CSI stream.

Evidence Strong theory Supported hypothesis

Published physics or adjacent results support the hypothesis; capability-specific product and site validation are still required.

Runtime family Intrusion event

Entry or unexpected-presence event relative to a learned empty-space baseline.

When no ESP32 is connected

No compatible ESP32 stream is connected. Use the bundled Frontier recording; it demonstrates the shared Intrusion event runtime, not independent proof of this capability.

Intended capability

Pilot this intended outcome through the shared Intrusion event family, then validate it against site-specific ground truth: Tracks concrete curing progress on job sites and slow water intrusion through below-grade walls by watching the material's dielectric relaxation over days-to-weeks.

This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is shared-family mapped, evidence is class B, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

Solution blueprint

See the environment before installing it.

This exact kit is one of 191 first-class designs. It includes geometry, objects, nodes, wording, scenarios, installation, limitations, and catalog-bound readiness.

A related Frontier scene

This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.

01 The physics

Curing concrete loses free water to hydration: its eps_r falls from ~10-12 (fresh) toward ~4-6 (cured), a textbook GPR observable — through-slab and slab-reflected path delays shorten and attenuation drops on a characteristic curve tied to strength gain. Conversely, groundwater wicking into a basement wall drives eps_r the other way, from the floor upward.

02 Shared processing path

Stage 1 CIR sparse recovery isolates slab/wall-interacting paths -> Stage 5 NeRF inversion produces a per-region eps_r time series -> Stage 6 compartment Kalman fits the hydration curve (cure tracking) or CUSUM flags reversal/upward-creeping wet front (intrusion) -> Stage 7 one calibration pour teaches the eps_r-to-maturity axis for the local mix.

This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.

03 Validation plan

Own-hardware: instrument a test pour alongside standard maturity sensors (embedded thermocouple/maturity method) and cylinder break tests; for intrusion, a sandbox wall with controlled water-table rise and TDR moisture probes as ground truth.

04 Commercial hypothesis

'Strip the forms the day the physics says you can' — wireless cure telemetry for GC/concrete contractors, plus a basement-seepage sentinel for the same hardware after handover.
