01 The physics

The LD2410C holds a breathing occupant as a static micro-motion target at bed range (well inside its 4-6 m static envelope); sustained absence of both moving and static energy across the bed-range gates is therefore honest evidence of vacancy, scoped to the aimed cone. The CSI mesh supplies room and corridor context, so 'bed empty' escalates to 'bed empty plus exit-side motion' rather than a bare timer.
