JamProof

Armed-Mode Radar Backstop

Pilot radar backstop for in-cone presence during WiFi loss; not jam-proof security or guaranteed intrusion detection.

Readiness Shared-family mapped

Mapped to a shared offline runtime family and usable with a recording or compatible ESP32 CSI stream.

Evidence Strong theory Supported hypothesis

Published physics or adjacent results support the hypothesis; capability-specific product and site validation are still required.

Runtime family Intrusion event

Entry or unexpected-presence event relative to a learned empty-space baseline.

When no ESP32 is connected

No compatible ESP32 stream is connected. Use the bundled Home recording; it demonstrates the shared Intrusion event runtime, not independent proof of this capability.

Intended capability

Pilot this intended outcome through the shared Intrusion event family, then validate it against site-specific ground truth: Closes the two structural holes in an armed CSI home: an intruder who freezes fades out of the WiFi field, and a jammer silences it entirely. A room-aimed 24 GHz cone holds the motionless intruder by breathing micro-motion, and keeps detecting when the 2.4 GHz field is jammed — so silence plus radar motion is a confirmed break-in, not an outage.

This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is shared-family mapped, evidence is class B, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

A related Home scene

This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.

01 The physics

LD2410C static-target detection reads cm-scale sway and respiratory micro-motion to 4-6 m with a configurable 0-65 s hold — micro-motion a hiding human cannot suppress. Its 24 GHz FMCW chain shares no spectrum or failure mode with 2.4 GHz WiFi, so the jamming that blanks CSI leaves it untouched; mesh silence is already an alarm by platform doctrine, and coincident radar energy upgrades it to two-modality confirmation.

02 Shared processing path

CSI intrusion detect -> handoff of last-active zone to room cone -> LD2410 static-hold on the frozen intruder | CSI-silence watchdog -> LD2410 moving/static check -> jam-confirmed-intrusion verdict

This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.

03 Validation plan

Red-team drills: intruder freezes in-cone for 5-15 min (hold rate, false-hold audit against fans and pets); controlled 2.4 GHz interference tests confirming radar verdicts persist and the fused alarm fires; compatibility check with the pet-immune profile.

04 Commercial hypothesis

'They can't freeze and they can't jam' — for homeowners upgrading armed mode against the jammer-burglary pattern.
