Mapped to a shared offline runtime family and usable with a recording or compatible ESP32 CSI stream.
Intended capability
Pilot this intended outcome through the shared Machine vibration family, then validate it against site-specific ground truth: Verifies that conditioned air is actually reaching each zone by reading flow-induced micro-vibration of diffuser vanes, flex-duct skin and ceiling tiles — a continuous, per-diffuser commissioning check without duct sensors.
This describes the intended outcome. Readiness is shared-family mapped, evidence is class C, and a catalog mapping or recording is not proof of this outcome at a real site.

A related Buildings scene
This is one recorded vertical scenario. It is not separate validation of every capability in the catalog.
01 The physics
Air itself is RF-transparent, but airflow makes lightweight fixtures oscillate: diffuser blades and duct membranes flutter at flow-dependent frequencies and amplitudes (roughly 5-40Hz, sub-mm displacement), phase-modulating reflected paths — a micro-Doppler line whose frequency/energy tracks volumetric flow. Damper stuck closed = flutter line disappears.
02 Shared processing path
Micro-Doppler spectral lines 5-40Hz gated to static (machine-vs-human discriminator rejects people) -> axis discovery: commissioning 'poke' sweeps each VAV damper 0-100% to teach the flow-vs-flutter axis per diffuser -> compartment Kalman tracks per-diffuser flow state, CUSUM flags stuck dampers and clogged filters.
This is a capability design path. Components may be shared with other catalog entries; it is not presented as a unique algorithm.
03 Validation plan
Own-hardware only: bench rig with a variable-speed fan, standard diffuser and anemometer ground truth — establish flutter-frequency/energy vs CFM curve, then a live ceiling with commanded VAV sweeps via the BMS.
04 Commercial hypothesis
For the commissioning agent / HVAC service contractor: 'Continuous commissioning from the WiFi — every diffuser self-reports whether air is actually coming out, forever, with zero duct instrumentation.'
